ABOUT

A Celebration of Leadership, Community, and Carole

CaroleCon is the premier annual gathering of visionaries, volunteers, and thought leaders — all united to honor one woman’s impact on an entire city: Carole Ferguson, Executive Director of Keep Waco Beautiful and Founder of Waco Restaurant Week.

Born from Carole’s love for connection and community, CaroleCon 2025 celebrates her visionary leadership, her commitment to sustainability, and her uncanny ability to make everything feel like a party.

Who Is Carole Ferguson?

Carole Fergusson is a powerhouse in Waco, Texas, where she leads Keep Waco Beautiful, a nonprofit that transforms neighborhoods through beautification, environmental stewardship, and civic pride.

As Executive Director, Carole has revitalized community spaces, launched major cleanup campaigns, and inspired hundreds of volunteers to take action. Her philosophy is simple: a beautiful city starts with the people who love it.

But that’s just one side of the story. As the Founder of Waco Restaurant Week, Carole turned her passion for local food into one of the city’s most anticipated annual events — a weeklong celebration of Waco’s culinary scene that has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local nonprofits.

Recognized for her leadership and impact, Carole was named a 2022 Waco Under 40 nominee, honoring her contributions to civic engagement, sustainability, and community connection.

Her work has been featured in publications like The Wacoan, The Baylor Line, and The Waco Moms Blog, which have highlighted her entrepreneurial energy, community vision, and ability to bring people together around shared purpose (and wine).
